Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to chauffeur services provided by James Paige Ltd t/a James Paige Executive.

1. About us
James Paige Ltd t/a James Paige Executive provides executive chauffeur and private client transport services in the UK.

Company Number: 08112312

2. Bookings
A booking is confirmed when James Paige Executive has accepted the journey details and agreed the price or charging basis with the client.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate journey details, including collection times, addresses, passenger numbers, flight details and any special requirements.

3. Prices and payment
Prices will be agreed before the journey wherever possible.

Where services are charged by time, mileage or on an as-directed basis, the charging basis will be explained before the booking is confirmed.

Any additional waiting time, parking, tolls or other agreed journey-related costs may be charged where applicable.

4. Changes to bookings
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes to confirmed bookings. Changes may affect the price, particularly where they involve additional time, mileage, waiting or a significant change to the original itinerary.

5. Cancellations
If you need to cancel a booking, please let us know as soon as possible.

Any cancellation charge will be reasonable and will reflect factors such as the notice given, time reserved for the booking and costs already incurred.

Where a specific cancellation policy applies to a booking, this will be explained before the booking is confirmed.

Nothing in these Terms affects any cancellation or refund rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

6. Waiting time and delays
We make every reasonable effort to arrive punctually and monitor relevant traffic or flight information where appropriate.

James Paige Executive is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe traffic disruption, road closures, accidents, adverse weather, flight disruption or other events that could not reasonably have been avoided.

Where possible, we will communicate with the client and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

7. Passenger conduct
Passengers are expected to behave reasonably and to avoid causing damage to the vehicle or creating an unsafe situation.

We may refuse or discontinue a journey where passenger behaviour creates a serious safety risk, is abusive or unlawful.

The client may be responsible for reasonable cleaning or repair costs resulting from damage or excessive soiling caused by a passenger.

8. Luggage and personal belongings
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle requested is suitable for the number of passengers and amount of luggage.

We take reasonable care of personal belongings but cannot accept responsibility for items left in the vehicle unless loss or damage results from our negligence.

9. Our responsibilities
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with the booking agreed with you. UK consumer law implies these rights into contracts for services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

10. Vehicles and substitute arrangements
We aim to provide the vehicle agreed for the booking. If that vehicle becomes unavailable due to breakdown, accident or another unexpected event, we may provide or arrange a suitable alternative where reasonably possible.

11. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to resolve the matter.

13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in this clause affects any rights a consumer may have to bring proceedings in another part of the UK where applicable.
