Terms & Conditions

Terms of Service

  • All prices are exclusive of VAT charged at 20%.
  • All bookings must be secured with a credit or debit card, minimum 50% deposit to be paid within 7 days of booking; taken automatically 48 hours prior to the booking and the remaining balance due 24 hours prior to the booking. Wedding car hire payments will be taken in full 7 days prior to the event.
  • Your booking may be subject to additional waiting time and car park charges.
  • Excess time will be charged at the prevailing hourly rate.
  • The charge on your credit card statement will be shown as James Paige Ltd
  • Our minimum standard charge is 4 hours on all hires.
  • All hire charges are rounded up to the nearest 30 minutes.
  • Our airport set rates include a 30 minutes waiting time at the airport from the time the plane has landed. Waiting time charges will be incurred after the 30 minutes has elapsed and be charged per 30 minutes at the relevant hourly rate.
  • Incurred car parking fees will be charged at cost.
  • In the event a passenger has an excess of baggage, James Paige Ltd reserve the right to refuse any luggage or property in the car which in our opinion would result in the vehicle being damaged or made unsafe to drive on the road.
  • James Paige Ltd accepts no responsibility for delays howsoever caused.
  • James Paige Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any luggage or property carried within or on our vehicles howsoever such loss or damage may be caused.
  • James Paige Ltd expressly prohibits any person other than our chauffeurs to drive our vehicles except in the case where a hirer has taken out a self-drive agreement.
  • If it is necessary for a chauffeur to have overnight accommodation this will be charged at £100.00+ VAT.
  • A 100% surcharge will be added to the agreed tariff for services starting and/ or ending on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day.
  • A 50% surcharge will be added to the agreed tariff for services starting and/ ot finishing on all other bank holidays.
  • The Customer agrees and undertakes not to (i) solicit any existing employee of the Company (ii) solicit or procure the services of any existing sub-contractor of the Company. without the prior written authorization of the Company, (iii) make any attempt to interfere with the existing business relations between the Company and any of its existing employees, agents and sub-contractors.
  • Account facilities are available for registered UK and international companies.

Cancellation & Refund Policy


  • If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 48 hours from the start of the period of hire, there will be a 50% cancellation fee.
  • If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 24 hours from the start of the period of hire, there will be a 100% cancellation fee.
  • If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point, there is a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Rates are subject to alteration without prior notification. All account holders will be notified at least one month prior to any price increases.
